40th memorial 5k run and walk in Bohermeen, Co Meath
Bohermeen Athletic Club will stage the 40th memorial 5k run and walk on Saturday 6 June 2026 on quiet Bohermeen roads near Neillstown, Bohermeen, Navan in County Meath. Race headquarters and parking are at Bohermeen Community Centre (C15 XW97). A permit for the event is pending approval.
The event combines a timed 5k run and a non-competitive walk. Organisers plan an after-event barbecue and live music at the race HQ. A special 40th anniversary finisher memento will be given to all finishers.
Entry fees are listed as Adult €20 and Junior €12. Online ticket sales are available from 13 April 2026 until 6 June 2026. All race numbers, including pre-entries, can be collected at race HQ on the day from 4pm. Families and individuals entering on the night may register from 4pm and all entries close at 6pm.
Awards include individual prizes for men and ladies and team prizes. The first men’s team of six and the first ladies’ team of four will receive trophy awards.
