Pasqua Peaks Trail Race at Echo Valley Provincial Park
Pasqua Peaks Trail Race is held in Echo Valley Provincial Park near Fort Qu'Appelle, SK. The 2026 event is the third annual edition and takes place on October 4, 2026. Start and finish are at the Glacier Rock Centre.
Distances offered:
- 5 km
- 13 km (about 400 m elevation gain)
- 26 km (approximately two 13 km loops)
Courses use named park trails such as Owl, Eagle, Otter, Badger, Raccoon, Raven, Mink and Deer, plus wide cross country ski trails and an interpretive trail with stairs. The 13 km route includes roughly 400 meters of climbing and passes an aid station near km 4 and again just before km 10. The 5 km route moves quickly onto Owl, down Eagle and back up Otter, follows ski trails across the valley top, then descends Badger toward the Rock Garden and finish. The 26 km option is effectively two laps of the 13 km loop.
Registration opens April 20, 2026 and places are limited. A waitlist and transfer process is available through Race Roster with transfers and waitlist management closing September 20. Proceeds for 2026 will be distributed to Fort Qu’Appelle Community Outreach and Food Bank and to Echo Valley Trails Advisory Group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
