Party in the U.S.A. 5K
The Party in the U.S.A. 5K is held on July 4 at Northwest Community Park, 13770 Teel Parkway. The course is a new double-loop route that follows the park trails.
All participants receive a commemorative sleeveless t-shirt, a custom finisher medal, and chip timing. These items are distributed at packet pick up, which takes place on July 1 and July 2 at the Frisco Heritage Center Depot (6499 Page Street).
Registration is online only. The standard entry fee is $35 per person, with a $5 discount per person when four or more participants register in a single transaction. Registration is limited to the first 1,200 entries. A $5 late fee applies for day-of registration. No refunds are given; in the case of forced cancellation, registrations will be converted to virtual participants.
A Fire & Ice Challenge pairs completion of this race with the Frosty 5K. Challenge pricing is $55 per person and does not include the multi-person discount. The Fire & Ice Challenge medal is awarded when the Frosty 5K is completed on December 5, 2026.
Awards are given to the top three males and females in each age division: 9U, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Overall Male/Female and Masters Male/Female awards are also presented. Patriotic-themed attire and team spirit are part of the event with recognition for Largest Team and Spirit of the Race.
Dogs may run with their owners but are discouraged. City ordinance requires dogs to be on leash and have up-to-date vaccinations; runners with dogs start at the rear of the pack. Parking is available in the park lot or at Lone Star High School. $5 of each race registration benefits the Play Fund, a scholarship program for City of Frisco residents.
