Party in the USA 5K
Party in the USA 5K takes place in Frisco at Northwest Community Park on July 4, 2026. The course uses a double-loop route on park trails. The event includes an in-person 5K and a Virtual 5K option.
Registration is online only. Standard entry for each 5K is $35 with a $5 per person discount when four or more participants register in a single transaction. A Fire and Ice Challenge pairs this 5K with the Frosty 5K; completing both events earns a challenge medal awarded at the Frosty 5K. Challenge pricing is listed separately at $55 and does not include the multi-person discount. Registrations are limited to the first 1,200 entries. No refunds are given; in the case of forced cancellation, registrations will be converted to virtual participants. A $5 late fee applies for day of registration.
Swag and awards are provided. All participants receive a sleeveless shirt and a finisher medal included in the packet. Awards are given to the top three males and females in each age division 9U, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+, plus overall male and female and masters male and female categories. Patriotic attire is encouraged and contests for Largest Team and Spirit of the Race are noted.
Packet pick up is at the Frisco Heritage Center Depot, 6499 Page St., on July 1 and 2 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Parking is free at the park or at Lone Star High School. Dogs are discouraged but may participate; city ordinance requires leashes and up-to-date vaccinations, and runners with canine companions will start at the rear of the pack.
