Party in Pink 5K/10K Run/Walk : Vinton, IA
The Party in Pink event is a multi-day run and walk held July 17–19, 2026 in downtown Vinton, Iowa, on the east side of the courthouse. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation and includes multiple distance options.

Registration opens April 17 and closes July 4, 2026. Registration fees vary by event: many in-person adult events list a $30 fee, youth entries list $20, and the virtual option lists $30. T-shirt orders have a deadline in early July; shirts and medals can be shipped within the U.S. for a flat $7.50.
A Survivor's Party and participant packet pick-up are scheduled for Thursday, July 15 at Red Cedar Wine Bar at The Niche, 115 W 4th Street, Vinton, with packet distribution during that time window. An awards ceremony takes place in front of the Vinton Courthouse. In-person results will be posted separately from the virtual event. Virtual participants may complete their distance during the event date range.
Proceeds benefit the Virginia Gay Hospital Gifts of Hope fund, which supports free mammograms, diagnostic services, clinic visits, co-pays, pelvic exams, and Pap tests for people with financial need. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
