14th Annual Party in Pink 5K/10K Run/Walk
The event takes place in Downtown Vinton on the east side of the courthouse and runs across the weekend of July 17–19, 2026. It offers in person races and a virtual 5K option. Proceeds benefit the Virginia Gay Hospital Health Care Foundation Gifts of Hope fund, which provides free mammograms, diagnostic services, clinic visits, co-pays, pelvic exams, and Pap tests to people who need financial help.

- 5 km
- 1 mile
- Children's race around the courthouse, ages 8 and under
Virtual participants may complete their 5K during the July 17–19 window. Virtual registrants are eligible to receive a t-shirt and a medal, with shipping available within the United States for a flat fee of $7.50. A t-shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed by July 3, 2026.
Race fees listed for individual events include amounts such as $30 for several adult distances, $20 for youth categories, and $5 for the children's race. Medals are awarded for first, second, and third place in each age and gender category for in person competition; in person results are posted separately from virtual results.
A survivor reception and participant packet pick up occur on July 15 at Red Cedar Wine Bar at The Niche, 115 W 4th Street, Vinton. The reception includes charcuterie and a complimentary glass of wine while supplies last. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
