Parlor City Trot
The Parlor City Trot is a long-standing running event held in Bluffton, Indiana. Organized by Bluffton Parks and Recreation, the event celebrates its 52nd running in 2026. The race village is located at the Bluffton City Gym at 128 East Market Street.
The event offers three distinct road running distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10k Run
- 5k Run
The course is described as flat and fast. Participants travel through the streets of Bluffton and pass through Ouabache State Park. The route also includes sections along the Wabash River on the scenic River Greenway.
All participants receive finisher medals and high-quality long-sleeve event shirts. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in overall and age group categories for all distances. For the half marathon, additional prize money is awarded to the top three overall finishers and master runners.
The event is open to participants of all speeds, including walkers. However, the half marathon has a 4-hour time limit to accommodate the reopening of city streets. An early start option is available for half marathon participants who anticipate needing more than four hours to complete the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
