Event Details
The Parlor City Trot is a running event organized by Bluffton Parks & Recreation. The 2026 edition will be its 51st annual occurrence. The event takes place on a Saturday in early September.
Location
The event starts and finishes at the Bluffton City Gym, located at 128 East Market Street in Bluffton, Indiana.
Distances
Three race distances are offered:
- Half Marathon
- 10-Kilometer Run
- 5-Kilometer Run
Course
The course is described as flat and fast. It winds through the streets of Bluffton, passes through Ouabache State Park, and follows the scenic River Greenway along the Wabash River.
Time Limit
There is a 4-hour time limit for the half marathon distance. An early start is available for participants who may not finish within this limit. Early starters are eligible for age-group awards but not for overall awards.
Registration and Pricing
Registration is tiered with Early Bird and standard prices. The listed fees include a processing fee. T-shirts are included with registration, but availability of certain sizes may be limited. A reduced-price registration option without a shirt is available.
Awards
All distances feature overall and age-group awards for the top three finishers. The half marathon offers prize money for the top three overall and masters finishers. Finisher medals are also provided for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
