Parlor City Trot
Parlor City Trot is an annual road race organized by Bluffton Parks & Recreation at 128 E Market St, Bluffton, IN (Bluffton City Gym). The event includes a half marathon, a 10K, and a 5K and uses a course described as flat and fast that winds through Bluffton, Ouabache State Park, and along the Wabash River on the River Greenway.
The half marathon has a four hour time limit; an early start option is available for participants who need more time. Early starters are eligible for age-group awards but not overall awards. Organizers note limited shirt sizes and offer a reduced-price registration option that excludes the event shirt when sizes are unavailable.
Prize money is offered for the half marathon overall and masters top three finishers: $200 for first, $100 for second, and $50 for third. All distances award overall and age-group prizes to the top three in each category. Event features include long sleeve event shirts for most registrants and finisher medals.
Questions about starting options or registration should be sent through the event registration system. The event schedule includes check-in, starts for each distance, and awards presentations for each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
