So Long to Summer 5K/10K
So Long to Summer 5K/10K takes place on Sept. 26, 2026 at Salisbury Park in Parker, CO. The event is part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series and is professionally timed.

Standard registration fees are $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K. Groups of four or more in the same transaction receive a 10 percent discount. Registration fees increase on Saturday, September 12. Event day registration may be available for an additional $5 if space remains. Early registration guarantees a race shirt size and a finisher medal if selected; additional shirts or medals may be available after pickup or as add ons during registration. Extra breakfast plates are available online only.
Registered participants receive a race shirt, a custom bib, a post race pancake breakfast from Flippin Flapjacks and a beverage option for ages 21 and over from Two22 Brew. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers in each distance, and medals go to the top three male and female finishers in these age divisions: ages 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. A free Kids' Dash for children age 8 and under follows the race with no registration required.
The course is an out and back from Salisbury Park. The event is held rain, snow or shine, refunds are not issued, and strollers and leashed dogs are welcome but must stay on the right side of the trail. Parking is limited and any proceeds benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program. Volunteer opportunities are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
