The Parker Parks and Recreation Miles over the Meadow Mother’s Day 5K & Family Fun Trek is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Tallman Meadow Park in Parker, Colorado.
The event offers two different activities:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Family Fun Trek (a one-mile leisure walk)
Event Details
Registered 5K participants receive a commemorative item if they register by April 30 to guarantee it. Both the 5K and Family Fun Trek registrations include breakfast, a custom race bib, and a post-race beer for participants aged 21 and over. Commemorative finisher medals are available for purchase as an add-on during registration and must be ordered by May 1.
Awards are given in the 5K for overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three male and female finishers in multiple age divisions ranging from 12 and under to 70 and over.
The event benefits the Town of Parker Scholarship Program, which helps local families and individuals with limited financial resources participate in town recreation programs.
Logistics and Fees
Packet pickup is available on Friday, May 8, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at a location to be determined. Event-day packet pickup opens at 7 a.m. at Tallman Meadow Park.
Registration fees for the 5K start at $40, plus a processing fee. The Family Fun Trek fee starts at $36, which includes up to four participants; there is a $9 fee for each additional participant up to seven. Prices increase after April 24, 2026, and again on event day if space remains. The event is held regardless of weather, and no refunds are issued.
A discount is available for groups of four or more who register for the 5K together in the same transaction; they receive 10% off the race entry fee by requesting a discount code via email. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
