The Parker Parks and Recreation Miles over the Meadow Mother’s Day event takes place on May 9, 2026 in Parker, Colorado at Tallman Meadow Park (12335 Canterberry Parkway). The event offers two options: a 5K and a Family Fun Trek, a one-mile leisure walk that includes a duck hunt along the route for children. The 5K awards overall male and female winners and the top three male and female finishers in age divisions: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.

Registration pricing starts at $40 for the 5K and $36 for the Family Fun Trek (processing fees apply). Family Fun Trek pricing includes up to four participants; a $9 fee applies for each additional participant up to seven. Prices increase later in registration and possibly on event-day if space remains. Groups of four or more registering for the 5K in the same transaction receive a 10% discount (discount code required).
Both event registrations include breakfast, a souvenir bib, and a beer for participants 21 and older. Registered 5K participants receive a commemorative item if registered by April 30. Finisher medals are available as a limited add-on if ordered by May 1. The event is held rain, snow or shine and proceeds benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program.
