Course, aid stations and logistics
All races are out-and-back on the NETT Trail, running east of Paris. The trail is a rails-to-trails conversion with a mix of asphalt, soft ground, gravel and some bridge crossings. The first nine miles are asphalt; beyond that the trail becomes hard-packed gravel. The course is flat and uses turnaround points for each distance.
The event is cupless and requires each runner to carry a hydration device. A reusable collapsible cup is available for purchase at packet pickup. Aid stations (stocked with water, Gatorade and food) are located at Mile 4, Mile 8.5, Mile 13.1 and at the Start/Finish for longer-distance runners; 10K and 5K runners do not pass aid stations. Portable toilets will be at the start/finish and at Blossom aid station, with permanent toilets along the NETT.
Pacers are allowed only for the 100K and only for specified late-race segments; they must check in and sign a waiver. Drop bags can be left at packet pickup for delivery to Blossom aid station; drop bags are returned to the start/finish after the aid station closes. Awards include finisher medals (buckle for 100K) and top overall and masters prizes. Camping is available at the Love Civic Center and discounted hotel rates are available with partner hotels. Cancellation policy provides race credit based on how far in advance a runner cancels. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
