About the race
PARAGHOUL 5K/10K is the third annual running event on October 24, 2026 in downtown Paragould, Arkansas (101 South Pruett Street). The 5K and 10K routes use the paved 8 Mile Creek Trail and the race starts and finishes in downtown Paragould.
Event distances include:
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 10K (6.2 Miles)
- Kids Fun Run (0.4 Miles)
- Over 18 Inflatable Fun Run (0.4 Miles)
- Spirit Runner (non participant)
All finishers in the timed races receive medals and there are age group awards. The event includes a costume contest with first, second, and third place prizes. Participants in the kids fun run receive a race shirt, medal, a custom PARAGHOUL water bottle, and candy. The inflatable fun run for participants aged 18 and over awards prizes for first through third place and provides an event t-shirt to participants. The organizer states that entries include a swag bag.
