The "Panoramic Run Around Burg Are" is a public run organized by the Selbstläufer Altenahr e.V. in the Ahr Valley. The run offers three distances: 19 km, 35 km, and 54 km, which lead through the picturesque landscape of the Ahr Valley.
The event is approved by the German Athletics Association (DLV) and is aimed at runners of all performance levels. The routes are challenging and include both flat sections and steep climbs. Refreshment stations are set up along the routes.
