77th Annual Pancake Day Fun Run
The 77th Annual Pancake Day Fun Run takes place in Centerville, Iowa. The event is held on the same morning as the local Pancake Day celebration. The course begins on the north side of the Centerville square and passes by several town landmarks before returning to the same location to finish.
Participants select from the following distances:
- 10k Run
- 5k Run
- 1.3 Mile Walk
Every participant receives a custom 77th Annual Pancake Day Medal for taking part in the event. Cash prizes, provided as Chamber Bucks, are awarded to the overall winners. These credits are valid at over 100 Appanoose County businesses. Specifically, the top male and female finishers in the 10k race receive $150, while the top male and female finishers in the 5k race receive $75.
Registration is conducted online. While pre-registration closes on the Friday before the event, on-site registration remains available on the morning of the race at an increased rate. After finishing at the north side of the square, participants are located near the event activities and pancake breakfast area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
