Course Details
The route uses well-groomed horse trails with gently rolling hills. The course goes through an area with eucalyptus trees. According to City of Rolling Hills Estates regulations, dogs and strollers are not permitted on the course.
Event Features
The race uses a staggered start to accommodate runners, walkers, and joggers. It is chip-timed. Participants receive a custom finisher medal and a premium event t-shirt. There are division awards for each age category and an opportunity to win prizes via a bib-number raffle. A DJ provides music, and there is an event backdrop for finisher photos. A vendor expo is also part of the event.
Charity and Community
Proceeds from the event benefit Strides in Recovery, a Palos Verdes-based non-profit that coaches individuals in addiction treatment programs to complete running events. There is an opportunity to donate new or gently used running shoes on event day.
