Event Information
This is a running event scheduled for Saturday, July 4, 2026. The Palisades Will Rogers 5K Run has been a part of the local Independence Day celebration for 47 years.
Event Distances
The event includes three races:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids Fun Run
- Dick Lemen Run - High School Competition 5K
Location
Due to an unprecedented fire, the event will not be held at its traditional location this year. Instead, the 5K Run and Kids Fun Run will take place at Venice Beach.
Charitable Purpose
Race proceeds from this year's event will go towards rebuilding the Pacific Palisades Park & Community Center. The organizing foundation is also accepting direct donations for this purpose. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
