Palisades Half Marathon and 6K Trail Run : Fort Lee, NJ
The Palisades Half Marathon and 6K Trail Run are scheduled for September 27, 2026, in Fort Lee, New Jersey, within Palisades Interstate Park. The events are organized to benefit the Palisades Parks Conservancy and its network of 29 state parks and historic sites from the GW Bridge to the Catskill Mountains.

- 13.1 miles Palisades Half Marathon, paved course with about 1200 ft of elevation
- 6K Trail Run, shorter mixed-terrain route touring rocky Palisades cliffs
The Palisades Half Marathon uses a paved route along the Palisades ridge; an updated USATF certified course is forthcoming. The 6K Trail Run route is pending and is described as mixed terrain over rocky cliff areas.
Registration windows and fees are set for each race. The Palisades Half Marathon has an early registration period; fee information and dates are provided by the organizer. The 6K Trail Run opens registration in early summer with its own fee schedule. Registration for either race includes a race t-shirt and finish medal.
On event logistics, car parking information will be provided by organizers. Regular shuttle service between uptown Manhattan and Fort Lee will operate before and during the event. Free bicycle parking and bag check will be available on site.
All registration fees support the nonprofit work of the Palisades Parks Conservancy. Refunds or deferrals are not offered; registrations may be transferred to another person. The event is planned to proceed rain or shine, with cancellation only in extreme conditions and fees converted to donations if canceled.
