Palisades Half Marathon and Trail Run
The Palisades Half Marathon and Trail Run take place in Fort Lee, New Jersey, on September 27, 2026. Both events are hosted in Palisades Interstate Park and share on-site amenities.

An updated USATF certified half marathon course is forthcoming. The half marathon covers paved roads along the Palisades ridge and includes roughly 1200 feet of elevation gain. The trail event will follow a shorter, mixed-terrain route over rocky cliffs; specific course details are pending.
Registration windows and fees are set in advance: early registration for the half marathon opens March 27, 2026 with a registration fee of $85; registration for the trail run opens June 1, 2026 with a fee of $50. Registration includes a t-shirt and a finish medal.
Car parking will be available with further details to come. Regular shuttle service between uptown Manhattan and Fort Lee will run before and throughout the event. Free bicycle parking and bag check will be provided on site.
All proceeds benefit the Palisades Parks Conservancy and the network of 29 state parks and historic sites served from the GW Bridge to the Catskill Mountains. Volunteers are recruited to support check-in, water stations, and course guidance. No refunds or deferrals are offered; transfers can be arranged through the race organizers. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine unless canceled for extreme conditions, in which case registration fees will be converted to donations.
