Palisades Half Marathon + 6K Trail Run
The Palisades Half Marathon and 6K Trail Run is organized by the Palisades Parks Conservancy and rescheduled for October 3, 2027. Both races have a revised start and finish location at Ross Dock Picnic Area, about 2 miles from the original start, with parking available at Ross Dock.
Distances:
- Half Marathon
- 6K Trail Run on pavement
Organizers note that course routes have been altered and that course maps will be shared before race day. The updated half marathon course is uncertified by USATF NJ. There will be fewer water stations than originally planned. A shuttle service will run between Manhattan and the start/finish area, rideshares can access Ross Dock, and a free bike valet will be available at the start area.
Prizes are planned for top finishers and age categories. For the half marathon, top three overall receive select running shoes; age category winners receive Nuataaq water bottles; and age category top three receive a one year AllTrails Plus subscription. For the 6K, top three overall receive trail shoes and age category top three receive a one year AllTrails Plus subscription.
Volunteers support check in, water stations, and course guidance on race day. Registration fees are nonrefundable and are directed to the Conservancy; registrations can be transferred to another runner and donation acknowledgement letters are available on request.
