Paint the Downtown 5K, 4th Annual
Paint the Downtown returns in 2026 as a community-focused running event organized by Broadway Brew Coffeehouse in Plainview, Texas. The event uses the same 5k route as the previous year and raises money for downtown improvements such as paint.
Event options include an in-person 5k, a 1 mile run/walk, and a virtual 5k. The 1 mile provides a shorter route for participants who prefer it. The virtual option allows participants to submit a 5k time from another location and still take part in the event.

The registration fee is $40 for each option. Participants who sign up before September 26th for any option will receive the 2026 Paint the Downtown t-shirt; registration after that date may not guarantee a shirt.
