2026 Pacing for Preemies 5K at Flowood Nature Park
The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Flowood Nature Park in Flowood, Mississippi. It includes three options: a 5K Run, a 5K Walk, and a Virtual 5K. The run and walk begin and end at Flowood Nature Park and follow a course east along the jogging path on Flowood Drive to the entrance of the Bella Ridge neighborhood, then return along the same route. Race timing is provided by SISU Race Timing.
Registration for on-site participants includes one event T-shirt for registrations made by the August 28 deadline, one swag bag, and post-race refreshments. Awards will be presented to overall male and female finishers, the top three male and female runners by age division, the top three male and female walkers overall, the individual who raises the most in pledges, and the largest team.
Packet pickup is handled through the Milk Bank Office at 2001 Airport Road, Suite 204, Flowood, with an early pickup day before the event. The event supports the Mothers' Milk Bank of Mississippi; fundraising and team participation are part of the event structure. The organizer lists multiple sponsors including The Bower Foundation, FMOL Health St. Dominic, Newborn Associates, McGehee Cruise & Vacation, O'Neal Steel, and several in kind contributors.
