Over the Top Trail Race : Pocatello, ID
The Over the Top Trail Race takes place on May 8, 2027 in Pocatello, ID and is organized by the Pocatello Running Club. The event uses singletrack in the City Creek Trail System and highlights scenic overlooks, wildflowers, cacti, gentle rolling climbs, flowing switchbacks, and close proximity to town.

The course has seen recent distance and route updates to reflect true mileage. Shorter loops were adjusted into the current 5K and 10K formats. The two longer races were revised from previous formats into a true trail half marathon and a stout 30K loop. Both longer races travel "Under the Top" counterclockwise first, then "Over the Top" clockwise. The organizer notes the half marathon route is very challenging and "slightly fat"; the 30K can include sneaky late-race hill climbs.
