Over the Top Trail Race : Pocatello, ID (May 8, 2027)
The Over the Top Trail Race is the tenth annual running event held in Pocatello, Idaho on May 8, 2027. The races take place on the City Creek Trail System, a network of singletrack trails located close to town.
The trail network includes scenic overlooks, wildflowers, cacti, gentle rolling climbs, and flowing switchbacks. The course layout has been updated to reflect current trail mileage and reroutes.

- Trail half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
Route updates note that former 3 mile and 5 mile loops have been revised into the 5K and 10K courses. The longer events were adjusted from previous formats to a true trail half marathon and a 30K loop. For the two longer races, the route goes up "Under the Top" counterclockwise first and then goes "Over the Top" clockwise second. Organizers advise that the half marathon contains steeper sections and the 30K includes late-race hill climbs.
The event permits roll-overs but does not allow bib transfers. Early bib and bag pick up is scheduled for Friday, May 7, 2027, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Centennial Park.
