25th Annual Outter Limits Fun Run
The 25th Annual Outter Limits Fun Run is scheduled at Waskesiu Lake, Saskatchewan on September 26, 2026. The event offers timed and untimed distances and a post-event area with prizes, musical entertainment, a silent auction, food vendors and beverages.
Distances available:
- 10 km run
- 5 km walk/run
- Fun run, age 2 and under, free
The start and finish line is located on Montreal Drive across from Outter Limits. The course is well marked and includes two water stations and distance markers. For safety and liability the course is limited to registered participants only; personal music devices and dogs are prohibited because of wildlife in the area. Registration will close once 1000 entries have been received.
Entry benefits and prizes vary by age. Child entries age 12 and under receive a goody bag from Waskesweets and Waboba. Adult entries receive an Outter Limits Fun Run commemorative Salomon Trailblazer 10 pack with a stated retail value of CA$80; pack colors are available on a first come first serve basis. Over the last 25 years the event has donated more than CA$151,000 to various charities. Funds after expenses for this year are designated for Sask Trails Association, Waskesiu Recreation Association, the Canadian Mental Health Organization and Waskesiu Fire Department.
Package pick up is offered Tuesday September 22, 10:00 to 18:00 at Outter Limits in Saskatoon, and Saturday September 26, 08:30 to 09:30 at the green tent near Outter Limits on Waskesiu Drive. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
