Outter Limits Fun Run 2026
The Outter Limits Fun Run marks its 25th year on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Waskesiu Lake in Prince Albert National Park. The event takes place in Saskatchewan's boreal forest and highlights fall colours.
Distances offered:
- 10 km run
- 5 km walk/run
Participants receive a commemorative Outter Limits Salomon Trailblazer 10 backpack, colors available first come first serve. Children 12 and under receive a goody bag from Waskesweets. All entries are non-refundable. Early bird pricing applies until April 30, 2026: adult $79.00, child $13.50 (12 and under). Regular pricing from May 1, 2026: adult $84.00, child $18.50 (12 and under). Registration will close once 1000 entries have been received.
Walk-up registration on September 26 will accept only 150 additional entries; run swag for walk-up entries may differ from advertised. Packet pick-up is available at the Outter Limits store in Saskatoon on September 22 and at an event tent in Waskesiu on event day.
The course is well marked and restricted to registered participants. Personal music devices and dogs are prohibited. Facilities on course: the 5 km route has 2 bathroom stops and 1 water station; the 10 km route has 3 bathroom stops and 2 water stations.
The post-event program includes a silent auction, musical entertainment, food vendors, beverages and giveaway prizes. The event is not a fundraising event but donates funds to organizations including Sask Trails Association, the Waskesiu Recreation Renewal Project, the Waskesiu Fire Department and the Canadian Mental Health Association; over $151,000 has been donated to date.
