The event includes two options:
- 5k
- Kids Run, which is open to participants aged 9 and under.

The event starts and finishes at the Peosta Community Center on Burds Road in Peosta, Iowa.
Details
For the 5k, registration before a specified date costs $25 and includes an event t-shirt, with an additional fee for size 2XL. Onsite registration is available for a higher fee, but a shirt is not guaranteed for late entries. The 5k will be professionally timed and scored, with results posted online.
The Kids Run is not professionally timed, but medals will be awarded to the top three boy and girl finishers. Registration for the Kids Run includes a t-shirt and race packet.
The event encourages families and friends of melanoma warriors to participate and wear team shirts to honor loved ones, though team registration is not required.
A separate bike ride with two route options is also mentioned. Participation in the bike ride is by free-will donation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
