About the race
The Outlaw Original Weekend takes place at the National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham. The programme spans two days with racing, an event village and spectator facilities.
Saturday features the Outlaw Sprint and the Future Outlaw running events for younger participants. Sunday hosts the main Outlaw Nottingham race and the Outlaw Aquabike; the English and British Long Distance Triathlon Championships form part of Sunday’s race. A relay option is available for teams sharing the full-distance challenge.
Event distances include:
- Outlaw original: 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run
- Outlaw Middle: 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run
- Outlaw original Aquabike: 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike
- Outlaw Sprint: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Future Outlaw: Mini 1.2 mile run, Junior 2.4 mile run
The course is described as fast and flat. The Event Village overlooks the finish area and includes food outlets and exhibitors, with grandstand seating at the finish. The National Water Sports Centre and Holme Pierrepont Country Park provide wide open space for spectators; dogs are allowed on a lead.
Onsite camping is available via the National Water Sports Centre or Pitchup. Parking at the venue uses an ANPR system and parking tickets are sold through Park PCM using code 4455. Those racing on Sunday are required to register and rack on Saturday. Volunteer roles are also available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
