OUTLAST Las Vegas
OUTLAST is a six hour trail endurance challenge held in Blue Diamond, Nevada at 6375 NV-159 on March 6, 2027. Runners complete a 5K lap every hour; each lap must be finished within the hour to remain in the event. Time between laps is available for recovery and refueling.
Each 5K lap is timed individually. Runners who complete all six laps have their combined time used for local awards and placement on the national leaderboard. The top male and female at each event are recognized for the fastest combined 5K times. The fastest runner across all OUTLAST 6 hour events, including the Championship, is crowned National Champion and receives a $1,000 prize.
Courses are trail based with natural terrain, elevation changes, and variable conditions; some sections may include pavement or gravel. Aid at the basecamp or loop start will provide water, basic hydration, and snacks. This is a cupless event so runners should bring their own bottle or hydration system. Participants can walk as long as they complete each 5K within the hour.
Awards and recognition include patches for partial completion, a premium OUTLAST medal for six laps, and an OUTLAST Tee for all participants. Event registration lists a fee of $90. Top finishers at each city qualify to compete at the Outlast Championship in DFW on December 4, 2027, where cash prizes are awarded. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
