Ossewa Trail Run
Ossewa Trail Run is a two-day trail running event held at the foot of the Kerkenberg mountains from 9 to 11 April 2027. The event uses trails that pass sandstone ridges, wide valleys and grasslands, and participants may see Eland on the mountain slopes. The route includes steep ascents and mountain terrain linked to local Voortrekker history.
Day one and day two offer distinct distances:

The event features a race village with on-course water points, medical crew support, and ablution facilities. Post-run facilities include meals, live music, and a recovery area where runners can rest and socialise. Onsite beverage options mentioned include craft beer and locally distilled gin from Clarens.
