ORRRC Xenia Marathon

ORRRC Xenia Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K

The Ohio River Road Runners Club presents the ORRRC Xenia events on March 29, 2026, with start and finish at the Xenia YMCA, 336 Progress Drive, Xenia, OH 45385. The organizing club lists long running editions for the events, including the 59th marathon, 37th half marathon, and 4th annual 10K.

The event program includes these distances:

The courses share a common start and finish and use concentric paths with turnoffs for the shorter distances. The route runs into downtown Xenia, through neighborhood streets and a section of scenic rail trail. The marathon course is certified as a Boston qualifier.

Registration and packet information notes that there is no day of race registration and the final registration opportunity is at Saturday packet pick up. Packet pickup is scheduled Saturday March 28 from 1pm to 5pm and Sunday March 29 from 6am to 7:30am. Participants may decline a race shirt for a $10 registration discount and shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after March 15.

Timing and rules include disposable timing chips on the backs of bibs, strict time cut offs equivalent to about 13:45 minutes per mile (approximately 6 hours for the marathon, 3 hours for the half, 1 hour 25 minutes for the 10K), and a no number equals no results policy. Running strollers are not permitted; walking strollers must start at the back and still meet the cut off. Animals are not allowed except coordinated service dogs.

Finishers in each distance receive medals. Overall awards and age group prizes include gift card amounts for top finishers. A post race meal is provided beside the YMCA at the Xenia Adult Recreation and Service Center and YMCA locker rooms are available for showers and changing.
