About the race
The Ohio River Road Runners Club presents the ORRRC Xenia Marathon on Sunday, April 4, 2027, in Xenia, Ohio. The event starts and finishes at the Xenia YMCA, 336 Progress Dr, Xenia, OH 45385, and offers the following distances: - Marathon - Half marathon - 10K Registration opens 1 October 2026. There is no day of race registration; the final opportunity to register is at Saturday packet pick up.
A No Shirt option reduces the registration fee by $10 for those who register before the shirt cut off. Race shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after March 15. Entry fees increase in stages. Examples of published fees include: marathon from $55 until 31 December 2026 up to $95 by packet pickup; half marathon from $45 up to $85; 10K from $40 up to $65. All finishers receive a medal.
The event uses a disposable timing chip affixed to the back of each bib; participants must wear their number to receive official results and awards. Organizers enforce a strict pace cutoff of 13 minutes 45 seconds per mile, approximately a 6 hour marathon, a 3 hour half marathon, and a 1 hour 25 minute 10K; participants unable to finish within the cutoff may be redirected or transported back to the YMCA. Event guidelines prohibit bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, roller skates or blades, and animals. Running strollers are not permitted; walking strollers may be used by walkers who must line up at the back and meet the course cutoff.
