Ord of July - July 4, 2026
Ord of July is an untimed, out-and-back run on Mt. Ord organized by GhostHead Productions in partnership with Asics. The course totals 12 miles and follows mostly forest road. Participants will use provided GPX coordinates; there are no course markings.
The event follows a FAT ASS style format. There is no entry fee, no aid station, and no official timing or results posted on UltraSignup. The field is limited to 50 runners. All participants are expected to carry their own nutrition and hydration at all times.
The group meets at the FR626 dirt parking area located one mile up from the entrance. A first place prize will be awarded to the first male and the first female to reach the summit of Mt. Ord. All participants receive a free poly-cotton t-shirt provided by Asics.
Registration closes on Mon, Jun 22. The organizer describes the route as an out-and-back run on forest roads with GPX support and no on-course aid or markings. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
