Ord of July
Ord of July is a Vert Challenge run on Mt. Ord near Payson, AZ, organized by GhostHead Productions. The course is an out-and-back totaling 12 miles and is conducted on mostly forest road without course markings. Participants will be provided GPX coordinates. The event follows a FAT ASS style format with no entry fee, no aid station, and a limit of 50 runners.
The event will not be timed and no results will be posted on UltraSignup. A first place prize will be awarded to the first male and the first female who reach the summit of Mt. Ord. All participants are expected to carry their own nutrition and hydration at all times. Runners will gather at the FR626 dirt parking area located one mile up from the entrance.
A free poly-cotton t-shirt from Asics is provided to participants. The last day to register to guarantee a free Asics t-shirt is June 10, 2026. Registration closes on June 22, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
