About the race
The 17th annual Oradell 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk is scheduled for 10/10/2026 at Memorial Field, 350 Prospect Ave, Oradell, NJ. The event is sponsored by the Oradell Kids Foundation in partnership with the Oradell Volunteer Fire Department to support local schools, the library, and parks.

Event features include electronic chip timing by BEST Racing Systems, a USATF certified and sanctioned course that awards 500 Grand Prix points, and visible mile split clocks. The course is described as fast and flat and is well marked. Awards and recognition include medals, team trophies, and prizes for top finishers, age groups, residents, first responder and military categories, and teams. A DJ and post race refreshments are provided. The event proceeds rain or shine.
Registration details: registration opens 7/18/2026 09:00 and closes 9/30/2026 23:59. Fees listed are $35.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for the 1 mile fun run. T-shirts are guaranteed only for participants pre-registered by 9/30 and are distributed at packet pick-up or on race day. The one mile fun run welcomes adults, children, and strollers; all participating children receive a prize. Participants registered for the 5K may join the fun run without separate registration.
