The One by the Canal

The One by the Canal is a scenic half marathon trail run held in November, starting at Cowley Recreation Ground and finishing in Watford's Cassiobury Park. The course follows the Grand Union Canal, offering runners beautiful natural surroundings along country trails and woodland paths. The event features well-marked routes with four water stations approximately every 5 kilometers, chip timing, and a finisher medal.

Facilities include medical cover, bag drop, catering, and portable toilets at the event village. The race is suitable for individuals aged 17 and over, but not for wheelchairs, buggies, or dogs (except registered assistance dogs). A pre-race coach transfer from finish to start is available.
