Chase The Sun Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 5k and 10k
This event on Wednesday 7 April 2027 stages timed 5 km and 10 km races at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - North Park. The course runs through North Park and is described as flat with 8 m of elevation gain. Each kilometre is clearly marked and marshals are positioned along the route.
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results and post race goodies. GPX files are available for both distances for use with GPS watches, Strava or Komoot. A bag drop will be provided inside Timber Lodge, Room B, and on-site toilets are located at Timberlodge Cafe near the event village.
Water is available at the 2.5 km point and at the finish. The event village offers food, drink and finish-line extras from partners, and an optional event t-shirt produced with RT Kit is available at checkout. Race pack collection happens on the day from the event village; participants are asked to bring booking confirmation and photo ID.
Minimum ages are 15 for the 10 km and 11 for the 5 km. The organisers welcome buggy runners and wheelchair athletes and request that they remain mindful of other participants when overtaking.
