Ollie's Ultra

Ollie's Ultra is an endurance running event held at Santa Fe Park in Chanute, Kansas. The course is USATF certified and uses a soft chat trail on the old Safari Golf Course. Runners complete a certified 2.022 mile loop; GPS devices may show about 2.08 miles per loop. Only full loops are counted and loops completed after strict cutoffs will not count. In a tie the time of completing the last full loop is used as the tiebreaker.

Available event durations include:

• 48 hour
• 36 hour
• 24 hour
• 12 hour
• 6 hour
• 3 hour

The 48, 24, 12, and 6 hour distances are eligible for state records. There is official timing and custom awards for the top three in each division. Registration includes a t-shirt and a finisher award; hoodies are available at extra cost. Deferrals are valid for one year. Finisher awards are given for the furthest distance an entrant exceeds; each entrant receives one award for their greatest distance.

A fully manned base camp aid station is located just past the start and finish area and offers snacks, hot food, water, and Tailwind. Runners are encouraged to carry their own water or bottle. There is space for tents and nearby RV sites. Pacers are permitted after 12 hours with one pacer on course per entrant at a time; pacer bibs cost $5. Runners must carry their own nutrition, may only meet crew at the base station, and must follow the counter clockwise course. Headlamps are required for longer duration entrants after dark.
