Endurance Event at Santa Fe Park
Ollie's Ultra is a multi-duration endurance event held at the former Safari Golf Course in Chanute, Kansas. The race takes place on a USATF Certified loop measuring 2.022 miles. The course consists of a soft chat trail that runners follow in a counter-clockwise direction. Participants compete to complete as many full loops as possible within their chosen timeframe.
The event offers a variety of timed divisions:
- 48 hour
- 36 hour
- 24 hour
- 12 hour
- 6 hour
- 3 hour
The 48 hour, 24 hour, and 12 hour distances are eligible for state records. Results are based on full loops completed before the strict cutoff time; any loops finished after the limit do not count. In the case of a tie in loop count, the individual who completed their final loop first is ranked higher.
A fully stocked and staffed aid station is located at the base camp near the start and finish line, providing water, Tailwind, snacks, and hot food. Participants are permitted to set up personal tents or camps in the designated area near the aid station. For those staying overnight, headlamps or lights are mandatory after dark.
Registration includes a t-shirt and a finisher award based on the furthest distance milestone reached. Top three finishers in each division receive custom awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
