Ole’s Spring Run Off - Camrose
Ole’s Spring Run Off is a spring fun run in Camrose held on May 9, 2026. The event offers three distances and uses the paved valley trail system through the city.
Distances offered:
- 8 km - includes one somewhat challenging hill at about 4.5 km.
- 3 km - essentially flat course.
- 1 km (Kids Fun Run) - short course for children.
The race starts at Stoney Creek Centre and follows 39 Ave toward the ski hill. The 8 km route passes through a more hilly section with a notable climb near the midpoint, while the 3 km course remains flat on paved trails. The kids run is 1 km and is aimed at being enjoyable for children; the local mascot Ole Uffda may appear and high five participants. The event donates $500 to the Camrose Public Library and directs remaining funds to the Ski Club for trail and equipment maintenance. Sponsors provide water on course and partners have contributed items and services for participants. Results and photo albums from past years are published for reference.
