Oktoberfest Fly Away 10K Run & 5K Run/Walk
The Fly Away Run is the 7th annual running event held as part of Kenmore's Oktoberfest celebration. It features a timed, marked out-and-back course on the Burke-Gilman Trail that heads east toward Bothell, launching from the Burke-Gilman Trail access point at Copperworks Distilling Co, 7324 NE 175th Street, Kenmore.

Registration opens February 20, 2026. The 5K registration fee is $40 and the 10K fee is $50. Refunds are not allowed for either race. All registered participants receive a commemorative medal. Registrations completed by September 1 are guaranteed an event giveaway; after that giveaways are available while supplies last.
Packet pickup is available during the week of the race at the Bothell Kenmore Chamber Office, at the launch location the day before the race, and on race day. Parking is available on nearby streets and at the Kenmore Park & Ride, which provides crosswalk access to the event area.
Leashed pets, pet strollers, and wagons are permitted on the course; owners must keep pets on a short leash and clean up after them. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
