About the race
Od Tatier k Dunaju is a long-distance relay race held in Slovakia. The course spans a total distance of 345 km, starting in Jasná in the Low Tatras and finishing on the Danube embankment in Bratislava. The event is organized as a non-stop run that continues through the day and night.
Participants can compete in teams consisting of different numbers of members:
- 6-member teams
- 9 to 12-member teams
The relay format requires that one member of the team is always running while the others move along the course. The event utilizes GPS tracking to monitor the progress of the participating teams across the country.
Registration is confirmed upon payment of the entry fee. The organizers provide participants with functional running shirts featuring original graphics. To assist with the logistics of such a long route, resources such as an e-book of maps, a mobile application, and information regarding car rentals and accommodation are made available to the teams.
