The Oberelbe Marathon (OEM) is a scenic running event that takes participants from the Saxon Switzerland region along the Elbe Cycle Route to the cultural metropolis of Dresden. The marathon offers various distances, including a full marathon, half marathon, 10 km run, 5 km run, 2.7 km mini marathon, and a 0.4 km Bambini run. In addition to the sporting event, there is a unique steamboat ride that allows companions to accompany the runners from Königstein to Dresden.
