11th Oakdale Fun Day 5K and 10K Run/Walk
The event is the 11th annual Oakdale Fun Day 5K and 10K Run/Walk, held in Oakdale, WI as part of Oakdale Fun Days. It is presented by the Oakdale Fire Department as a fundraiser to purchase fire prevention equipment and support the area the department serves.
The race course begins and finishes at the Oakdale Fire Station at 230 Ballpark Ave. Distances offered:
- 5 km run/walk
- 10 km run
Early packet and goody bag pick-up is available at the park shelter prior to the race. Registration lists individual age group open entries with a stated fee of $30 for each distance. Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after July 1.
Onsite amenities and activities include food and drinks, raffle prizes available for purchase, and entertainment such as softball, bean bag toss, and live music. Parking is available for attendees.
The event proceeds rain or shine. Participants are advised to bring bug and sun protection, weather-appropriate items, and to wear appropriate running attire and comfortable shoes.
