Event
The Outrun 24 Hour Trail Race is held at Lake Metroparks Chapin Forest Reservation in Kirtland, OH (10381 Hobart Road). The event began in 2012. Runners may run any distance or time up to 24 hours. Registration closes Thu, Apr 2 at 11:59 PM ET.
Course
The course is a USATF certified and IAU Bronze Labeled loop of about 1.002445 mi on trails. The surface is primarily crushed limestone and dirt (about 93%) with a short section of asphalt (about 7%). The loop has rolling terrain with one main hill and about 65 feet of elevation gain and loss per lap.
Timing, awards, and services
All runners use live electronic chip timing with online live results. Runners under 100 miles receive a race medal; runners who complete 100 miles or more receive a belt buckle.
