2026 New Zealand Road Relay Championships
The event will take place in Halcombe, Manawatū-Whanganui Region, New Zealand on 3 October 2026. It is organised as a series of team road relay races including designated NZ Championship events and a separate social event.
To be eligible for NZ Championship events, all team members must be registered competitive members of an Athletics NZ club on the day of the event and must meet the age requirements for their category. The social event does not require club membership. Detailed entry requirements are available from the organiser.
Registrations close on Friday 25 September 2026. Standard pricing applies until Monday 21 September 2026 and late pricing applies until Friday 25 September 2026, with entry fees increasing according to the published schedule. Clubs that prefer to pay by invoice or bank transfer can arrange this with the event team; a code is provided to complete entries once payment is received.
Team members may be changed up until the entry closing date. Multiple teams may be entered by the same club.
Course information notes that all events start and finish in Halcombe. Course maps and leg distances will be shared by the end of June. Walkers may choose between a 6 leg course and a 4 leg course; walkers on the 6 leg course may be required to begin earlier than other starters.
