12th Annual Nursing 5K
The Marion Technical College Nursing Program hosts the 12th Annual 5K on October 3, 2026 at Marion Technical College in Marion, Ohio. The event is in person and organized by the college nursing students to support program activities.
Proceeds help the nursing class cover expenses for their pinning ceremony. Participants register through the event ticketing system and can select a t-shirt size after payment. Orders placed by September 18, 2026 qualify for a t-shirt or for sponsor logos to appear on the shirt.
Community members may make donations via the ticketing options. A $100 donation places a business logo on the back of the event t-shirt; organizers request logos in all black as vector art or high resolution electronic files. Donations of any amount will appear on promotional materials and on display the day of the event, and donor names will be included in media mentions.
The 5K is partnered with a college-wide Big Tent Event happening after the run. That community event will host the Columbus Zoo, live music, food trucks, e-sports competitions, and other activities.
