12th Annual Nursing 5K
The Marion Technical College Nursing Program presents the 12th Annual Nursing 5K, an in-person 5-kilometer event at Marion Technical College, 1467 Mount Vernon Avenue, Marion, OH 43302, scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026. The event is organized by the Marion Technical College Nursing Students and is intended to raise funds for the nursing class to help cover expenses for their pinning ceremony.
Registration is managed through ticketed entry. Orders placed by September 1, 2026 are eligible to receive a t-shirt or to have sponsor recognition included on the shirt. Participants can select their shirt size after payment. The organizer accepts donations through a donation ticket option, and sponsorship opportunities are described for businesses and supporters.
A $100 donation receives a business logo on the back of the event t-shirt; logos should be provided in black as vector art or high resolution electronic files. Donations in any amount will appear on promotional materials and be displayed on the day of the event. Sponsor names will also be included when organizers speak to the media.
The 5K is planned in conjunction with the campus Big Tent Event, which will host community activities such as exhibits from the Columbus Zoo, live music, food trucks, and e-sports competitions. The event has a no refunds policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
