Nurses Rock Run-Walk
The Nurses Rock Run-Walk is an athletic event held at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas, California. The event is organized to support the Bonnie Fang Foundation, which provides assistance to nursing students and addresses the nursing shortage within the healthcare system. Participants have the choice of several distances and participation methods, including in-person and virtual options.
The following distances are available for in-person participants:
- 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
- 10K Run/Walk (6.2 miles)
In addition to the physical event, various virtual options are offered, providing flexibility for participants to engage remotely. Virtual entries include the 5K Virtual Run/Walk, the 10K Virtual Run/Walk, and the Bonnie Challenge Virtual, which involves completing a total distance of 9.3 miles (both the 5K and 10K). Virtual registrants receive a custom themed medal and an official race shirt, with items shipped directly to them. Those completing the Bonnie Challenge also receive custom bib boards.
The in-person venue, Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, is situated at the intersection of the 10 and 57 Freeways. Access to the park is via Via Verde Drive. The park requires a separate vehicle parking fee of $15. The event also recognizes community involvement by providing awards to the three largest registered groups.
