Liberty Fest 5K Color Run - North Salt Lake
Liberty Fest 2026 includes a community 5K Color Run presented by the City of North Salt Lake in partnership with Big West Oil and additional sponsors. The race is part of the city’s Liberty Fest celebrations held around June 27, July 2, and July 3, with race activities highlighted on Saturday morning, June 27, 2026.
The event format returns to a 5K distance and also offers a shorter fun run. Color stations are placed along the course and participants are advised to wear the provided white race shirt for best color effect. The event guidance notes that color powder is washable but may temporarily stain some fabrics, and recommends sunglasses or goggles. Participants are advised to bring a towel and a change of clothes for after the run.
Registration fees are listed with tiered pricing: general cost $25 (early bird $20) and youth cost for ages 12 and under $15 (early bird $13). Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, June 26 from 6-8.
After the races, Legacy Park hosts a free family festival with live music and entertainment, a doubles grass volleyball tournament, bounce houses, a magic show, a foam cannon, and other community activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
