About the race
55th Annual Nova Scotia Marathon takes place in Barrington Passage on Nova Scotia’s southwest coast, known as the Lobster Capital of Canada. The event offers four distances—Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 km, and 6 km—and is a Boston Qualifier as part of the Run Nova Scotia Road Race Series. Runners enjoy a scenic, coastal rural course with a mainly flat profile, aided by frequent aid stations, timing, and volunteers.
In addition to the main races, youth runs are held, and on-site Sea Me Camp provides camping options. Finishers receive medals, and a post‑race reception/awards event is held. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
