Event overview
The Nottingham 10K is a city-centre road race held on Sunday 08 March 2026. The race starts in Old Market Square and finishes inside the grounds of Nottingham Castle. The course heads north from the city centre along Mansfield Road to Nottingham Girls High School, then follows Forest Road East and Church Rock Cemetery before returning south toward the city centre, passing Motorpoint Nottingham Arena and looping around the Park Estate.
Practical information
Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. The event includes chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and iTAB. Race numbers are collection-only. On course there will be water stations supplying 330 ml screw-top bottles and recycling bins at each station. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags with target finish times. Baggage must be checked into the designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip on the race number. Medical teams will be available at fixed first aid stations near water stops, with a first aid unit and recovery area close to the start and finish and roaming first aiders in the Event Village. MarathonPhotos will take event photos that can be purchased after the race. Travel options include car, bus, rail, bike and Park and Ride; Nottingham train station is about a 10-minute walk (0.5 miles) to the start. The tram service will not be impacted.
