Nottingham 10K
The Nottingham 10K is a city road race that starts in Old Market Square and finishes inside the grounds of Nottingham Castle. The route travels north of the city centre along Mansfield Road, passes Nottingham Girls High School, continues via Forest Road East and Church Rock Cemetery, returns south toward the city, reaches Motorpoint Nottingham Arena, loops around the Park Estate and concludes at Nottingham Castle.
Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. Race services include chip timing, an exclusive medal, a finisher’s goody bag and the option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and an engraved iTAB. Baggage can be dropped at the designated store in Old Market Square; bags are trailered to the finish and collected inside the Castle.
On course there are water stations supplying 330ml screw top bottles and recycling bins at each station. Fixed first aid stations are positioned near water stations, with a first aid unit and recovery area close to the start and finish and roaming first aiders around the Event Village. Toilets are provided at the start and within the Castle finish area. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags with target finish times.
The Event Village offers food and drink for purchase and hosts partner charities. Event organisers provide guidance on travel options including car parks, bus, rail, tram, bike parking and Park and Ride services. MarathonPhotos will take event photographs for purchase.
