Event overview
The Nottingham 10K takes place on Sunday 08 March 2026. The event is a 10K road race that starts in Old Market Square and finishes inside the grounds of Nottingham Castle. Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. The event includes chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and iTAB, and a finisher medal.
Route and on-the-day information
After leaving Old Market Square the route travels north of the city centre along Mansfield Road, passes Nottingham Girls High School, continues via Forest Road East and Church Rock Cemetery, then returns south toward the city centre. Runners pass Motorpoint Nottingham Arena, loop around the Park Estate and finish inside Nottingham Castle.
On course there are water stations supplying 330 ml screw-top bottles and recycling bins at each water station. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be available and carry flags with target finish times. Toilets are located around the stadium area. The event is collection-only for race numbers; entrants should use the tear-off strip on their race number to secure baggage for the designated Baggage Store and reclaim bags after the race. First aid stations are located near water stations, with a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish and roaming first aiders in the Event Village. Photos will be taken by MarathonPhotos and results will be published on the event website after the race. Bone-conducting headphones may be worn at low volume.
