Event Overview
The Nottingham 10k takes place on Sunday, 8 March 2026. The race starts in Nottingham's Old Market Square and finishes inside the grounds of Nottingham Castle.
Route & Course
The 10 km route heads north from the city centre along Mansfield Road, passing Nottingham Girls' High School. It continues along Forest Road East and Church Rock Cemetery before turning south back towards the city centre. Runners pass the Motorpoint Nottingham Arena and loop around the Park Estate before the finish at Nottingham Castle.
What's Included
Participation includes chip timing, a finisher's goody bag, and an exclusive medal. There is an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and an iTAB medal engraving service. Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day.
Registration & Race Pack Collection
This is a collection-only event. Race numbers can be collected from the Up & Running store in Nottingham's Exchange Arcade from 20 February to 7 March. If collection is not possible, numbers can be collected from the Race Office on event day.
On the Day Information
A baggage store is located in Old Market Square at the start; bags are transported to the finish area for collection. Water stations are provided on the course. Pacers will be present to help runners achieve target finish times. Toilets are available at the start and finish areas.
For Spectators
Spectators must purchase a ticket to access the finish line area inside Nottingham Castle grounds.
Sustainability
The event promotes environmental responsibility. Recycling bins are provided at water stations, and a drop-off station for unwanted trainers, operated by JogOn, will be available in the Event Village.
Travel
Multiple transport options are available. Suggested car parks include Victoria Centre and Broadmarsh. The city's tram service is unaffected. Nottingham train station is approximately a 10-minute walk from the start. Park and Ride services are also available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
