Event details
The Nottingham 10K takes place on Sunday 08 March 2026. The race starts at Old Market Square and finishes inside the grounds of Nottingham Castle. Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. The route heads north from the city centre along Mansfield Road past Nottingham Girls High School, then along Forest Road East and Church Rock Cemetery, returns south towards the city centre, passes Motorpoint Nottingham Arena, loops around the Park Estate and finishes inside Nottingham Castle.
Entry includes chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and iTAB, and an event medal. Race numbers are issued by collection only.
On the day
An Event Village will offer food and drink vendors and host partner charities. Baggage must be dropped at the designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip from the race number; runners should reclaim bags after the race. Water stations on course will provide 330 ml screw-top bottles and recycling bins are available at each station.
Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be on course with flagged finish times. Toilets are provided around the stadium; urinating outside allocated facilities may lead to disqualification. Medical teams will operate at regular intervals with first aid stations near water stations, a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish, and roaming first aiders in the Event Village.
MarathonPhotos will take official photographs on course and results will appear on the event website after the race. The tram service in the city centre will not be impacted by the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
