Northland Mother's Day 5K
The Northland Mother's Day 5K is the 11th annual running event held at English Landing Park in Parkville, Missouri. The main event is a certified 5K course with reported elevation gain under 20 feet and few turns. The course can be viewed from several locations in the park. A virtual option is offered for those who do not attend in person.
Proceeds benefit Equal Start, a 501(c)(3) organization, and will be used to purchase school supplies for eligible children in Platte County. The event includes finisher medals, a Kids Dash with prizes, food and family activities, and race t-shirts with a registration deadline to guarantee a shirt on April 11.
Registration fees are listed as $35 for adults and $20 for students age 18 and under. Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, May 7 at The Running Well Store, 6106 NW Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO 64154, with race day packet pickup available at the race site. The event is professionally timed and lists local sponsors including the Platte County Health Department, Platte County Education Foundation, Home State Health, Central Bank, and KCI Rotary.
