Northern Strike 5K - Grayling, MI
Northern Strike 5K is an annual run, walk, and ruck event held at Camp Grayling Parade Field in Grayling, Michigan on August 2, 2026. The event offers a 5K distance and includes run, walk, and ruck divisions.
Custom awards are presented to the first-place overall male and female finishers. Age-group awards are given to the top three finishers in each age class. Finishers can download custom finisher certificates from the event page at no charge after the race.
Age groups are divided by male and female categories: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 and older. Separate ruck classes are listed for female and male competitors.
Registration fees are stated as follows: $40 until July 1, with a reduced rate of $30 until July 1 for students, veterans, soldiers, and first responders. An additional $10 applies after July 1 through race day.
Courses and maps are provided for the event. Supporters named for Northern Strike 5K include Q100, Kodiak Group, Paddle Hard Brewing, and Matt LaFontaine Automotive.
