Northern Lights 5K COLOR Glow Run
The event is a 5K glow run and community fundraiser taking place in Ely, MN at the Ely Community HUB on September 25, 2026. The run features illuminated glow zones along the course and a glow giveaway item for all registered participants to wear during the event.
A family-friendly Glow-Fest is scheduled before the run at the same location and includes food trucks, kids activities, and live music. The event supports the Northern Lights Clubhouse; 100% of registration fees go to the clubhouse to fund social, educational, artistic, health, nutrition, and transportation services for adults experiencing mental health challenges.
The run is a non-timed event, with a large digital clock at the finish for participants who wish to record their own time. The course welcomes wheelchairs and families with strollers. The event policy does not allow dogs, bikes, or scooters.
Registration prices listed by the organizer are $30 for adults, $20 for students, and $10 for youth, with higher race day prices. Shirts are available for purchase during registration and pickup for $22 in sizes S to XL; quantities are limited. No refunds are offered after August 31, 2026.
