North Shore Distance Classic
The North Shore Distance Classic is a road race held on the north shore of Lake Macbride in Solon, Iowa, on October 24, 2026. The event offers two distances:
- 13.1 miles
- 4 miles
All finishers receive a finishers' medal. Prizes are awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall men and women in both the 4 mile and the Half Marathon. Packet pickup is available on race day only at the Main Lodge from 7:30 to 8:30am. There is no race day registration. Requests to change race distance must be reported by 8am on race day.
T-shirts for the event are long sleeve, available for an additional cost, and are not guaranteed for registrations made after October 10. Corridor Running members are eligible for a $3 discount during registration step 2. Registration uses tiered pricing that changes over the registration period.
