NOGAWILD Safari Run
The NOGAWILD Safari Run is a fundraising run and walk at NOGAWILD Safari Park in Cleveland, Georgia. The course runs through the Safari Drive‑Thru road and park trails with varying terrain, including gravel, asphalt, mulch, uneven trail sections, woods, and small creek crossings. Two small water crossings have pavers or boards provided. Participants may substitute an extra loop around the park to avoid woodland trail sections.
Distance options include:
- 2.8 miles two‑lap Safari Park course
- 1 mile Kids and Family Fun Run, one to two laps
- 2.8 miles virtual option
The event includes animal viewing opportunities inside the park, with species noted in event materials and a planned opportunity to meet the park’s Scottish Highland cows after the run. The event functions as a fundraiser for Creation Encounters. Registration for the in person Safari Run includes admission to the Safari Drive‑Thru after the event. Each in person participant receives one complimentary raffle ticket and a Safari Run medallion; additional raffle tickets are available for purchase and winners must be present to claim prizes.
This Safari Run is not a timed race; participants are encouraged to track their own time. Awards are planned for the first three female and first three male finishers, but only finishers from the first race wave are eligible to receive awards. Prices increase by $5 one month before the event, and a commemorative shirt preorder deadline is noted in event information. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
