Noche Trail Runs
Noche Trail Runs takes place on September 19, 2026 in South Llano River State Park near Junction, Texas (1927 Park Rd 73, Junction, TX 76849). The event uses the park's trails with wide rocky sections and single-track paths. The course is hilly, showing about 1000 ft of elevation gain per loop, and runs through a dry, rocky landscape.

All participants must carry a headlamp. A 32 ounce water-carrying system is required for all events; a 32 ounce minimum is recommended for longer distances. The ruck event has weight requirements: runners over 150 lb carry 30 lb; runners under 150 lb carry 20 lb. Ruck sacks or vests are allowed.
Aid stations are located on course and at the start/finish. The main aid station at the start/finish (mile 13.5) has road and crew access and accepts drop bags. Two other stations at mile 7 and mile 11.5 have no road access and do not accept drop bags. Aid stations provide hot and cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice, and ice.
There is a 12 hour cutoff for all races. Camping is available about three minutes from the start area; campgrounds charge about $20 per night and offer restrooms and showers. Awards include finisher medals, first place awards for men and women, a special bronze 40 mile finisher medal, a ruck patch, and a dead last award for the 40 mile distance.
