Noche Trail Runs
Noche Trail Runs is an evening trail event on September 19, 2026 at South Llano River State Park in Junction, TX (1927 Park Rd 73, Junction, TX 76849). The event offers multiple distance options over trails within the state park and takes place on rocky, often dry terrain under night conditions.

The course uses wide rocky sections and single-track trails and includes hilly terrain with about 1000 ft of elevation gain per loop. Historic average temperatures for the event range from 68 to 96 degrees. The route is fully marked and supported with aid station food and hydration. Photography and volunteer support are provided. A pacer is allowed on the last lap of the 40 Miler.
Ruck specifics are stated by weight: 150 lbs corresponds to a 30 lb ruck or greater than 150 lbs corresponds to a 20 lb ruck; a ruck sack or vest is allowed. Entry price periods are Early Bird, Standard, and Late Registration, and the entry fee includes the state park entry. Registration closes on September 18, 2026.
The race is part of the Texas Summer Night Series. Series passes are available through June 3, 2026 and can offer savings and collectible items for participants who complete multiple series events. Awards and race gear include a soft shirt, collectible finisher medals, a special bronze 40 Mile finisher medal, 1st place awards for each distance, a DFL award for the 40 Mile, and a 13 MILE RUCK patch.
