No Name Trail Races : Agoura, California
The No Name Trail Races take place in Chesebro Canyon and Cheeseboro National Park-Agoura, part of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area near Agoura, California. The event offers multiple trail distances over varied terrain that includes runnable ascents, winding singletrack, steep fire road climbs, and smoother downhill sections. The route passes through diverse landscapes and portions that leave runners "straight out of a western."
Distances offered:
- 50k 31.42 miles with 4,991 feet of elevation gain and a time limit.
- Half-marathon 14.1 miles with 1,993 feet of elevation gain.
- 5k 3.6 miles with 491 feet of elevation gain.
The 50k course includes multiple aid stations located at several mile markers, and there are restrooms noted near miles 10 and 14 on the courses. Finishers receive unique medals; post-race provisions include hot coffee, cocoa, tacos, and a beer garden for those 21 and older. Additional race services include ultra-stocked aid stations, same-day results, free event photos, and event-branded bandanas.
The half-marathon distance is part of a six-race Trail Half Series with series standings, awards, and opportunities for season prizes. Volunteer roles support parking, registration, aid stations, course sweeping, and post-race festival tasks; volunteers receive race swag, meals, and transferrable race credit.
