No Minds Left Behind 5K Run/Walk
Livingston County Community Mental Health organizes the annual 5K Run/Walk on May 2, 2026 in Pinckney to raise awareness of mental health issues. The event focuses on reducing stigma and promoting positive community support. The description notes that mental illness affects one in four people every year and that positive support helps people live rewarding lives in the community.
The course uses the paved Lakeland Trail in Hamburg and is run as an out and back route. Parking is available at Zukey Lake Tavern, 5011 Girard Dr., Pinckney, MI 48169. Early packet pickup is available the day before the event at Genesis House, 1137 E. Grand River Ave., Howell, MI 48843. Race day packet pickup is available at the race location.
Awards include medals for the top male and top female in each age division. Age divisions are 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over. Entry fees are listed as $25 through April 4 and $30 after that date; snacks and water are provided at the event and t shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after April 4. The event is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation and results are posted live. Proceeds benefit members of Genesis House, a program of Livingston County Community Mental Health.
