Nightmare on Cage Blvd 5K
The City of Pharr Parks and Recreation organizes the Nightmare on Cage Blvd 5K held on October 24, 2026 at 118 S. Cage Blvd, Pharr, TX 78577. The event is a 5K (3.1 miles) running race with participant timing provided by Hog Racing Timing.
Registration opens July 20, 2026 and closes October 23, 2026. Registration fees are listed as $10 for children and $20 for adults. A t-shirt order deadline is set for September 25, 2026.
Finisher medals will be awarded and age group awards are planned. Award categories include a trophy for 7 years and younger, trophies for 8 to 10, 11 to 13, and 14 to 18, and age group awards for adults 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and older.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Jose Pepe Salinas Recreation Center, 1011 W Kelly Ave., on October 21, 22 and 23; pickup times are to be determined. Costumes are encouraged for participants.
