Night Triathlon 2026
The Night Triathlon is a multi-sport event held at Rutland Watersports in the United Kingdom. This competition takes place after dark, featuring a course that is illuminated throughout the entire route. The event is open to individuals and relay teams, with a minimum age requirement of 16 years on the day of the race.
The triathlon consists of three distinct segments:
- A swim held in a sheltered course.
- A bike leg conducted on fully closed roads.
- A run route situated in a scenic environment.
Participants receive a silicone swim hat and a personalized race pack including a race number and a timing chip. The event provides on-course hydration and nutrition at feed stations, supported by a comprehensive medical team and professional staff. Free parking is available for all athletes at the event site.
The swim start is organized in groups of four to manage the flow of the race. Every finisher receives a bespoke event medal. For those competing at a high level, prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each category. All participants receive a digital race guide one week before the event, and a results table is made available immediately upon finishing the race.
